The DCJS approved training alternative for the Firearms Instructor Development Course is for individuals who will teach at least one DCJS firearms endorsement course for a certified training school. The Firearms Instructor Development In-Service Course is for those who currently have their Instructor Certification and want to renew it. You must contact CCJA office to schedule range re-qualification after completion of online training. This satisfies the classroom portion of course only.
Important: In order to receive credit from DCJS, you will need to submit the completion certificate that you will obtain at the end of the online training must be uploaded under your DCJS Profile. We do not send the completion of 14I to DCJS.
